Should be a graduate from a recognized university with Minimum 55% Marks (50 % for SC/ST/PWD/OBC). Those with A Diploma in Banking & Finance from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) will be preferred (Not necessary although).

Should have qualified the IBPS Common PO exam conducted in September 2011. Please note that no Minimum marks criteria is mentioned so anyone passing the exam may apply.

Candidates that are in Final year of graduation may not apply (Although those that have final results and waiting for degree may apply).

Basic Knowledge certificate in computers (Not required if you studied computers as a subject in Degre)

State Bank of India (SBI)has announced its plans for clerk this 2012.The largest public sector bank with over 16000 branches across India has stated this as special recruitment project for categories other than general.Also a separate drive for north east is also brought up.Hence this sbi recruitment 2012 is not huge as expected by many.
